Urban
Lawns Music Festival
Urban Lawns 2006
London based singer/songwriter John O’Sullivan is currently working on his
first solo album. Not such an unusual piece of information perhaps, but after 26
years experience gigging and recording with bands, some might say he’s taken
along time getting round to it! Well, at least no one could accuse him of not
paying his dues!
Having been at various times a singer, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboard player
and a drummer, he now takes the stage armed only with an acoustic guitar, a
voice and a lovely bunch of songs, home-grown in the classic tradition and
garnished with a twist of psychedelia.

Sweetcheeks are a group of bright young things featuring three members of the now sadly defunct Lighthouse Family. They’ve recently returned from a three week tour of Estonian day care centres and play the kind of music that has been known to make grown men cry. The only band to have sparked a major outbreak of civil unrest at a primary school, catch them at a poorly attended gig near you!
