Everything You Lost are a 5 piece screamo band hailing from East Devon. United by their love of punk, emo, metal and hardcore music, during late November 2006, Jonny and Jay, formally of Miss Machete and Chris, Jake and Ben formally of Evelyn joined forces to form the band, Everything You Lost. The members had already known each other for a long time before EYL formed. Jonny has in the past played in a band with Ben and also played in a different band with Jake and Chris long before the days of Evelyn and Miss Machete. Having only been around for a short amount of time, the band have already played a number of gigs in and around the area, however Urban Lawns will be the first time they play Axminster despite living so close. The band is currently working on the finishing touches of their debut, untitled e.p which will be available to download from their myspace page very soon. The e.p was recorded and produced by the band themselves and it will contain four of their most loved tracks. The band has a very unique sound mostly down to the diversity of influences between members. As well as their love for emo and punk they all love many other genres of music. The bands main focus now is to build their set and play as many gigs as possible. Currently the band doesn’t play any covers and their set is full of their own material.
