Inferno is a metal/rock band based in South West Devon. We met through school and all brought together by our passion and enthusiasm for making good music. Our music is lively, upbeat and still maintains professional skill and standards needed to break free from the typical stereotyped metal bands emerging in our modern day world. We have recently recorded a four track demo to give just a flavour of our musical ability, a 6 track Inferno E.P is still yet to be recorded with “Avoid Infinity? Records”. The music represents our own unique style of metal and rock but holds the pace and attitude of modern day hardcore/punk. Our influence comes from bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Shadows Fall, Rise Against, and some newer acts such as soilwork and bloodsimple.  Our current line up consists of two lead guitars, one bass guitar, drums and vocals.  We have gigged around Exeter, Seaton, Taunton and most local towns with bands such as The Candidates, Andy Fiction, Sweet Black Angels, Guilt-Trip, and this year brings us to play with the likes of well known punk bands, Phinius Gage and Astpai. Four of the five of us are still in secondary school, which sometimes puts doubts in people’s minds, but let our music and presence on stage reassure you that we can get even the most reluctant crowd off their feet.

  What the Press Say

"First up were Inferno, I believe our youngest band, and they stormed through a very accomplished set, which was lapped up by their large contingent of fans, who crowded the stage meaning the judges had to move to get any kind of view at all! With an age range of 15/16, these guys have a big future if they keep it up. If they can keep drawing crowds like that, once they are able to partake of the alcoholic beverages, pub landlords will love them!!" Carlton Inn Battle of the Bands
