The Koogas are a London based band-originally from Newcastle, Blackpool, Devon and Czech Republic. Played gigs with The Horrors, Tom Vek, Babyshambles, Story 1,The Alabama 3, Terry Hall, My Luminaries ... Played Bestival 2006, UrbanLawns 2006, Glastonbury 2005 and NXNE- North by Northeast in Toronto which lead to Canadian album release. They have featured on compilations albums in the UK and Europe including the legendary Snakebite City.
The Koogas have had airplay in the UK, Canada, America, Japan, Italy, Mexico and Russia! They have worked with legendary producers such as Pat Collier and Paul Tipler. Forthcoming single ‘Big Cliff’ has been produced by Mark Ralph. The video had been made by cool upcoming video director Karl Rooney and resembles ‘Sesame Street’ on Acid. They have recently chosen to leave their record deal with Lime Records and are excited about what 2007 has in store!
