This year Urban Lawns welcomes back the unofficial King of the South Coast, the silky voiced Stewart Dennis as event compare!

Stewart has been working in commercial radio as a presenter for 8 years now. Currently he is breakfast jock (with Ex-Saint footballer Mark Dennis,  presenter of the Sunday night alternative rock show plus programme controller for 107.8FM The Saint in Southampton.  He's also worked for Southern FM in Brighton, VMR & Vibe FM.  Stewart is compare for Southampton's South Coast Idol and Southampton FC fans may remember him as the pitch presenter for Saints TV when Southampton were still a Premier League side.  For the last 8 months Stewart has DJ'd at Tasty - the alternative night that Urban Lawns has been running every month at Swans in Axminster and was last year's Urban Lawns festival compare.  When not at home listening to a pile of new CDs Stewart is most likely to be seen at The Joiners Arms in Southampton checking out new bands.  Urban Lawns is also a homecoming as Stewart grew up just down the road in Seaton. 

Stewart says "This year’s Urban Lawns festival looks like being even bigger and better than last years. There was a great atmosphere last year and hopefully if the weather is good this year should eclipse that.  There are going to be some great bands this year.  I can personally vouch for the Southampton bands - defo check out Plastic Toys and Dead! Dead! Dead! - both have been regularly featured on the Rock Show on The Saint and their gigs are regular sell outs around the South Coast!  I love live music so for this weekend just indulge yourself".
