The prospects started in 2004 they play a range of rock music and class their genre as "indy". How they met is a long story…. So we wont go into that. They are aged from 16 to 18.
They are influenced by and play covers by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Electric 6, Led Zeppelin, Franz Ferdinand, Jimmy Hendrix, The Clash, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Oasis, The Who, Free, Weezer, The Hives, White stripes, T-Rex, ACDC, Steppenwolf and many others. They have many of their own songs too.
The band formed to make their lives one big party. They have appeared in the papers about six times including two front pages. They have been on the Kongamana radio station and been mentioned on the BBC website about the Kongamana battle of the bands which they came 2nd in. Dale features on "the Sweet Black Angels" DVD too.
Some of their best/ most memorable gigs have been playing the Volunteer Inn (Honiton), the Carlton (Honiton), The Hub (Exeter), Indy Fest (Combe Raleigh) , Churchinford on a lorry and they played an amazing gig in a massive empty mansion but we don't know where it is. We were taken there in the dark……… it's somewhere north!
They have recorded an album in "that'll do"s recording studio (Dunkeswell). They are currently working on recording a new album.
