About Urban Lawns

Urban Lawns is an outdoor music festival which takes place in lovely Devonian sunshine at Cloakham Lawns in Axminster.  After having a hoot at last years festival we just knew we had to do it again.

We set out to stage a small, friendly festival where EVERYONE feels welcome.  We don't have big names or big sponsorship, what we do have is fantastic bands playing great music in a beautiful setting.  We have a fine bill of local acts, up and coming bands from all over the UK plus some special guests from overseas.   Check our 2007 Line-up page to find out who's playing and follow their links to hear some great tracks.  So if you want a warm up to the summer festivals or can't get a Glastonbury ticket, get your friends together and come to Urban Lawns.

As well as great music on two stages we'll be ensuring there's something to keep everyone of all ages entertained.  You'll find Circus and art workshops; Fire Shows; Paintball Gallery; loads of stalls; plenty of fantastic food including Al's Urban Foods; delicious beverages including local Ales and ciders; and much much more!

As a charity organisation the money we raise goes to providing and improving the leisure and recreation facilities of Cloakham Lawns Sports Centre for the people of East Devon.
